How can Charlotte be the QUEEN city...

If there's no H&M?

Every queen I know LOVES that store. Seriously, Charlotte, this is terrifying me. You need to get an H&M. And an IKEA.

I consider this bordering on a human rights violation.

yeah, we finally got a H&M this past summer...actually 3 of them...unfortunately the one at Atlantic Station didn't have my style last time I went there....little too urban for my taste but maybe the other ones will..you know how they cater to the clientele around them. I will be honest though...I found that store in Switzerland when Erin and I went to Europe and it was so much fun because it wasn't in the US yet, then it got here and was still cool, and now I feel like it has gone a little downhill from the original stores that I saw. Oh well, guess that happens with anything when it gets mainstream.

Ikea is coming. They have already started building it, but I think it is next spring or fall opening.

Hear you on the H&M Melissa. Loved it in New York the first time and last time in Norfolk it stunk. Big time.

That's a bit why I love H&M...a) you have to ease into it. b) it's hit or miss from season to season...I love it for basics that I don't care if they get ruined or only last one season... I think it takes a while to get used to H&M and how to properly navigate it - you can't shop it the same way you do other stores!
GOOD to know an Ikea is coming. I heart it.

I just don't love H&M as much since it got mainstream. I do like their t-shirts and accessories though....and sometimes there are finds, just not as many as there used to be.

I forgot, Trader Joe's is opening on the 10th right across from my Target. Guess I can add that to my weekly shopping stops!
